Arjon’s Professional Life:
● Graduate student earning his Master’s in Social Work from Portland State.
● Most recently worked in Portland Public Schools with youth around restorative justice and collaborative problem solving.
● Spent most of his adult life as a mentor where he fell in love with intentionally cultivating healthy relationships. He is still close with most of his mentees.
Arjon’s Specialties:
● Working with anxiety
● Working with depression
● Supporting people experiencing grief or loss
● Helping fathers be amazing!
Personal Life — Arjon grew up in the woods of rural Oregon where he was mostly bored out of his mind, and he has spent his adult life trying to figure out how to get back into those same woods and cherishing all the memories of his wonderful childhood. His favorite thing to do is adventure:
● Rafting (Salmon river, Rogue, Owyhee, etc.)
● Back and bikepacking around in the Cascades
● Backcountry ski touring
● Mountain biking
He loves his 3 children even more than adventuring! Other hobbies include:
● Board Games
● Finding yet more new hobbies
● Playing guitar
● Making and fixing things
● Arjon is old enough to play Ultimate at the great grandmaster level! (and sometimes he even does.)
As a Student Intern, Arjon accepts OHP through Health Share/Care Oregon or Self-Pay on a reduced-rate sliding scale ($10 to $50 per session) and sees clients as openings occur.
