Dave Davis, QMHP-R

I believe many of our troubles in life result from stuck patterns of thinking and unhelpful/outdated ways of relating to ourselves and to other people. But just recognizing these patterns is generally not enough, we also need to break these old habits and replace them with something new and healthy. In my approach to therapy, I draw on humanistic / depth psychology traditions in order to help you explore the things that might be stuck in your life, and to help you envision the life you actually want to live. Once a new goal for your life is identified, we will use modern evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques to help you practice healthier habits of mind, empowering you to move effectively toward the life you desire.
