Professional Life
Hanh (she/her) is currently a graduate student beginning her practicum and working towards her Master of Arts in Counseling at Northwestern University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Portland State University in 2024.
Hanh is a first-generation Asian American woman of Vietnamese descent, and intends to bring a culturally responsive and identity-affirming approach to her work. She is especially passionate about supporting BIPOC clients and women, and creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing.

Born and raised in Oakland, California, Hanh moved to Portland, Oregon as a teen where she helped organize and advocated for implementing culturally appropriate ethnic studies courses in Portland Public Schools. Her lived experiences growing up in a low-income immigrant family continue to shape her values and approach to counseling.
Outside of therapy, Hanh enjoys:
Watching and dissecting horror movies
Arts and crafts
Spending time with her dog, Tofu, and cat, Margot
Listening to audiobooks
As a Student Intern, Hanh accepts OHP through Health Share/Care Oregon or Self-Pay on a reduced-rate sliding scale ($10 to $50 per session) and sees clients as openings occur.
