Professional Life

Jonathan is earning his Master's in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at NYU Steinhardt. Before pursuing his degree, Before and during graduate school, he has worked in the following settings:

  • Crisis Counseling for at-risk LGBTQIAA+ youth

  • Victim Advocacy in a community health setting

Specialties

Jonathan continues to refine his skills to work with individuals to address the following concerns:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Grief/Loss

Personal Life

Jonathan was raised in Happy Valley, Oregon. From 2019-2025, Jonathan lived in Orlando, Florida, where he performed at Walt Disney World and worked a variety of other roles. In his free time, you can find Jonathan doing the following:

  • Hiking with his partner

  • Bouldering

  • Playing guitar

  • Playing Playstation

  • Singing Karaoke

  • Spending time with his family

As a Student Intern, Jonathan accepts OHP through Health Share/Care Oregon or Self-Pay on a reduced-rate sliding scale ($10 to $50 per session) and sees clients as openings occur.
