Professional Life

Jonathan is earning his Master's in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at NYU Steinhardt. Before and during graduate school, he has worked in the following settings:

  • Crisis Counseling for at-risk LGBTQIAA+ youth

  • Victim Advocacy in a community health setting

Specialties

Jonathan continues to refine his skills to work with individuals to address the following concerns:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Grief/Loss

Personal Life

Jonathan was raised in Happy Valley, Oregon. From 2019-2025, Jonathan lived in Orlando, Florida, where he performed at Walt Disney World and worked a variety of other roles. In his free time, you can find Jonathan doing the following:

  • Hiking with his partner

  • Bouldering

  • Playing guitar

  • Playing Playstation

  • Singing Karaoke

  • Spending time with his family

As a Student Intern, Jonathan accepts OHP through Health Share/Care Oregon or Self-Pay on a reduced-rate sliding scale ($10 to $50 per session) and sees clients as openings occur.
