Liv Siulagi, Professional Counselor Associate

Life can be challenging. Additionally many of us have internalized messages from society or from others that make life more challenging. I am a BIPoC counselor (she/her) who works with individual clients to cultivate tools that not only counter these messages, but help them build strength, resiliency, and serenity.

In our sessions we will work together to identify your goals and build skills that will help you lead a life that aligns with your values. As my client you provide expertise on yourself, and as your therapist I provide science-based, empathic guidance. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which means we will spend many of our sessions discussing the relationship between your thoughts, emotions and behaviors. I ground this more “micro” approach in liberation psychology and my own understanding that we live in a society that limits our ability to heal, build lasting connections, and live full, meaningful lives. If you are interested we will also incorporate art as therapy in our sessions, using creativity as a vehicle to deepen self-understanding.

Personal Life

I have lived in Portland, Oregon since age three. As an undergraduate, I attended Kenyon College in Ohio and then returned home where I spent several years living in the Woodstock neighborhood enjoying my twenties. I spend my free time lifting weights, seeing friends, trying new foods, and attempting to Konmari my apartment.

As an Associate, Liv participates in all of our Accepted Insurance Plans and sees clients as openings occur.
