Professional Life

Miranda earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Humboldt State University in 2011, specializing in Gender Studies and Human Sexuality. She is a graduate student beginning her practicum for Mental Health Clinical Counseling. Miranda is currently working towards her Masters of Arts in Counseling at Northwestern University's Graduate School.

Miranda is interested in the following:

- Creating a safe space for LGBTQIA2s+ individuals

- Empowering thems, femmes, and women

- Practicing inclusive therapy for people of all religions, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds

Personal Life

Miranda was born and raised in Los Angeles in a Jewish family. She is a musician and vocalist, and former frontwoman of a rock band. She currently resides with her many instruments and her ginger cat, Murray. Some of her interests include:

- Playing covers of songs she loves

- Cooking, baking, and trying new restaurants and cuisines

- Watching horror movies and listening to showtunes

 

Miranda is accepting new clients with Oregon Health Plan (through CareOregon), Providence, PacficSource, or self-pay to her waitlist. Miranda can see clients from anywhere in Oregon over Telehealth.
